HSBC Holdings has appointed Lawrence Yong and Khuresh Faizullabhoy as senior management. Yong has been appointed as director of trade and supply chain for HSBC Malaysia while Faizullabhoy has been appointed as head of trade and supply chain in Singapore. Both Yong and Faizullabhoy are greatly qualified for their respective positions. Leaving another international bank in Malaysia, Yong will be responsible for HSBC’s trade and supply chain business strategy in Malaysia. Faizullabhoy has held various leadership roles in HSBC during a career of 23 years. Along with his new role as head of trade and supply chain in Singapore, Faizullabhoy will also oversee the structured trade finance business for Southeast Asia.
