Financial services major, Morgan Stanley has appointed Sandra Lee as the head of sales and marketing for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) in Asia.

Lee, who is based in Hong Kong, is replacing Tony Archer who recently left the firm, a release said here.

"MSIM has a strong presence in seven Asian markets. Sandra will be a key driver of our Asia strategy," MSIM's Asia CEO, Blair Pickerell said.

Lee has held senior positions in investment sales, marketing and product development for Jardine Fleming, Franklin Templeton and HSBC Investments.

MSIM, together with its affiliates, has nearly 1,000 investment professionals around the world and approximately USD 356-billion in assets under management as on March 31, 2009.
