Director Hong Sangsoo's new movie became one of the candidates of Cannes Film Festival.

On 20th, foreign publisher Fine Cut announced that director Hong Sangsoo's new movie 'Different Country' was invited to the 65th Cannes Film Festival, which is happening from May 16th 27th.

Hong Sangsoo was now invited to Cannes Film Festival for four consecutive years after 'Like You Know It All'(2009), 'HaHaHa(2010), and 'Northern Direction'(2011).

Director Hong was invited for eight times total to the Cannes Film Festival so far, and he became one of the most invited movie directors of Cannes Film Festival.

'Different Country' drew movie fans' attention from the beginning part of the production, because of the casting of Isabelle Huppert.
