Connect, Engage, Get Hired! 10th Annual Asian Diversity Career Expo

Aimee Lim, Assistant Editor, AsianLife Magazine

The world of job recruitment and hiring can seem mysterious and daunting, even for a seasoned professional.  Today’s job candidates need to be more strategic, flexible and on their toes than ever before.  That’s where ADI (Asian Diversity Inc) comes in.

For over 20 years, ADI has held a special role in the professional community as one of the most trusted career resources in the country.  With career expos that attract 2,000 job candidates and 55 employers each year, the organization has helped thousands of students and professionals along the path to their dream careers.

Once again, thousands of job candidates will gather in Penn Plaza Pavilion on March 11th for the 10th Annual Asian Diversity (ADI) Career Expo.  Since 2001, ADI has been bringing together the nation’s top employers and a diverse population of job seekers.   Participating employers include an impressive range of companies, including Samsung Electronics, Siemens Corporation, Scholastic, the Peace Corps, and the U.S. Department of Labor.

The upcoming Career Expo is the perfect place to connect and engage with Asian American professionals, industry experts and recruiters.  Past Expos have brought together a vast range of professionals- from those looking for entry level positions, to more experienced professionals seeking management roles.  The ADI Career Expo is the place to advance a current career path as well as explore new opportunities and learn about various careers from the field experts themselves.

The Career Expo will also feature insightful informational sessions by the U.S. Department of State and the New York Hospital Queens, and enriching personal career coaching sessions.  Candidates have the opportunity to hone their professional communication skills and sharpen their career marketing techniques.  Career session topics include effective business communication and job search techniques.

The Career Expo is open to current students of all majors, recent graduates and professionals of all ethnic backgrounds who are looking for employment in the U.S. and Asia.  Additionally, bi-cultural or bilingual candidates are encouraged to attend and explore exciting career opportunities.  As ADI continues to empower Asians in the workplace, we encourage you to join us in this historic mission.

AsianLife.com invites you to pre-register on our website for free admission at www.Asianlife.com.

We look forward to seeing you on March 11th!
